City & Stone was founded in 2015 by Joseph Merrill, a second-generation builder from Long Island. Versed in architecture and design, Merrill combines his passion for outdoor and city living into a singular operating philosophy.
Inspired by landmark architect Edward Durrell Stone and a modern mid-century aesthetic, Merrill "sees through the ugly," creating standout visions for potential renovations, consulting on ground-up developments and streamlining the process of building from all phases.
